Intermittent lag - Phoenix Freeshard

I’ve been experiencing very bad lag on and off, and notice that it’s mostly in mainland Hibernia. Seemed as though is was also mainly when I was on Discord. I then read and turned off some settings on Discord that I was told would help, and it seemed to for a while all day while in DF and BG’s. Then now whether discord is running or not in mainland Hib I get bad lags in and out. Just wondering has anyone else had this issue? Should I try and un install then re install game? I have Ethernet direct connection also from router.

Hey, same issue for me. Every 5-10 seconds i have lag spikes (duration : 3 seconds) and every once in a while i got disconnected from the server.
There was no issue during the beta. internet connection isn't the issue (ping test during the disconnect in game and i still had internet connection.)

What was the settings you changed on discord? I tried to play without discord open but still disconnect.

Anyone here managed to find a fix for this issue?

Go to settings>Appearance> then I disabled “hardware acceleration”

Then also under settings>voice and video> Disabled quality of service high packer priority

It seemed to run fine after that for about 24 hours then it started happening again to me again. Played for about 3 hours today and had no issues at all...it’s really weird and on and off I’m not sure what exactly it is

I agree this lag is just about game breaking as theres no way rvr is going to be enjoyable. Lag spikes every few minutes lasting up to 30 seconds is really hard , anyone know anything about issues or even where the server is located?

Server is in Germany (Frankfurt I THINK). We do have lag from time to time due to that dang memory leak issue but a LOT of lag is internet related. If you are playing from anywhere but western or central europe, consider using a VPN to reduce your hops and bypass some poor performance nodes.

I have tried multiple things but still can’t get rid of it for good. Sometimes is fine and no issues at all and other times it’s like Lord said every few minutes real bad for 10-20 seconds. If I find anything out that fixes it I will post here
