I can envenom poison a weapon on my nightshade, account-vault it over too hero, and use it in RvR on my hero - bug?

This seems like something that's supposed to not work like this, but I wanted to see if it worked so I put snare poison on a pierce weapon with my nightshade, put it in account vault.

Equipped it with hero, went to RvR, and snared an enemy infiltrator (before his 2 friends attacked me xD).

Assuming this is not supposed to work like this?

In case it needs to be said I am not continuing to use this in RvR til I find out whether it's allowed or not. But just wanted to flag it.

Not a bug

I believe it best that envenom should not be transferable at all and that you need to spec(not composite) to apply

That was always allowed on the live servers, then they changed the mechanic and applying poison to weapons was not longer needed.

afaik that should not be possible on this server

i don't feel like going back to the era of poison-bots is beneficial to anyones gameplay experience (even though i have an SB ready to exploit it for all my melee chars/my friends melees)

It is - but so is solo getting attacked by duos/trios, or minstrel that wants to kite dd me for 2 mins til i die. I like the idea of having that available for when ppl want to cheese me.

But I'm not going to use it if it's an exploit according to the devs. Posted on disc, made an appeal, no response yet on either.
