This post is not viable for the game as of the last two weeks. If you would like to read some of the posts it does show when I asked in Support Discord I am not the only one that has used the method and it was working. You should take the sticky off since obviously you didn't inform your moderator this was a bad post last January.

It still works exactly like that. You cannot raise your secondaries via secondary crafting above your highest primary, however, skilling a primary can raise secondaries without any restriction based on primary skills. That means start with a single primary to something, raise all secondaries to that level, continue with other primaries.
