EDIT: To clarify, you don't NEED to do this in order to play. However, doing so will fix crafting and map location indicator until Phoenix devs have time to fix it. Also, while this will fix crafting and zone dot; it is not "Live Official" or "Phoenix Official"; it does tend to cause other issues. For instance, at the character select screen, the 'Quit' button will be unavailable. A work-around for this specific issue is to tap 'Esc' and then 'Enter'.


Typing this a lot in Discord, and I can see some of you having issues as well, so here's this:


    BACKUP FILES
<installDirectory>\data\ifd.mpk
<installDirectory>\mft.myp
<installDirectory>\game.dll
<installDirectory>\paths.dat
<installDirectory>\zones\zones.mpk

OPTIONAL: Icons (Folder)
<installDirectory>\icons\


    UPDATE DAoC
In your DAoC folder, run camelot.exe and patch to Live.


    RESTORE BACKUP
Place your backed up files in their appropriate locations.


    UPDATE PHOENIX
Run Phoenix.exe and patch like normal.


    PLAY

The "backup files" are not necessary to backup in order to play; they'll get patched by the camelot-patcher.

I believe that to be true shy of crafting and map indicator.

We are aware of that, though using those older files might cause issues on another end, which we cannot see yet.
Versioning conflicts can bring up the weirdest issues.
