For some reason my WiFi would just shutdown while playing. No internet connection at all until I reconnected to the local internet. I tried everything, drivers, uninstall/reinstall etc. Called tech support and first words is reimage the system which I didnt want to do.
The WIFI controller in my laptop is the Intel AC 8265 which is very popular in a lot of different models. I googled issues on this controller for days on and off and finally found one thing that so far seems to have fixed it.
On your router disable, or have your ISP disable WMM Advertise[/u]].
I've been running without it for a few days now and it seems to work.
