I'll try to make it as simple as possibile: i'm playing on my laptop which has 2 GPUs: one INTEL HD Graphics 630 (integrated one) and one NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti.
After playing for some time with charger plugged in, my laptop starts to overheat and soon after i start getting strong lag spikes that last around 15 to 30 seconds, this happens every 5 to 10 minutes more or less. It gets a lot better if i disconnect the charger.
I tried to figure this out for some days now and the only "hint" that i found was that when the lag spike happens my integrated GPU (INTEL HD Graphics 630) reaches instantly 100% usage (it usually stays around 50% during my daoc sessions). I tought that the way to solve this was to assign daoc to the most powerfull GPU.
I tried to look for a solution but the procedures that let you select which graphic card to use on specific application only work with .exe files while daoc process runs as a .dll (camelot.exe is just the patcher). Anyone knows how to solve this?
Both drivers are updated, SO: windows 10
Thank you so much
