Do Free Respecs turn off if you hit a certain realm rank?

I know the wiki says there are free respecs until 50, but I hear a lot of people saying that if you hit a certain realm rank you can no longer get free respecs.

Is this true?

Your statement is different than posted on the wiki, at least the part RR3:

Respecs
– Realm, Skill lines and Full respecs are free from level 1 to 49.
– Players will receive one full respec and two realm ability respecs for free at level 50.

Well, it's written in your quote. You had 1 full and 2 RA respecs, now you have 1 full and 1 RA left.

You are right, if the information on the wiki is correct.
That's how i understood also.

But meanwhile i checked the patch notes.
According to the information there i shouldn't have been able to do a free respec
because i am higher than RR3 (RR3L7).

So either information is incorrect or there is a bug.

I clicked on respec realm at the trainer.
Can't prove that but that's what i did.

You get one full respec and two realm respecs at 50, AFAIK.

I THINK this is an issue where the WIKI hasn't been updated to reflect the patch from 12 January. Those patch notes contain a line:

"allow free respecs while below level 50 and below rr3"

It is ALSO possible that you still get one full and 2 RA respecs after level 50 or RR3. The language from the WIKI implies that only the level 50 threshold is limiting us BUT in all probability, If you hit either threshold, the limit becomes the 1 full and 2 RA free respects. It would be good if this line from the WIKI was clarified:

"– Players will receive one full respec and two realm ability respecs for free at level 50."

That is my understanding as well Mac. I am not 100% sure, but my understanding is this:

You can respec an unlimited number of times for FREE as long as you are below RR3 and level 50.

Once you hit RR3 or level 50, you will receive 2 realm respecs and 1 full respec to use.

It would be helpful if all information sources were 100% accurate but I am guessing the GMs and Admins have been too busy with coding, patching and watching for cheaters to worry about updating the wiki.
