Hi, i downloaded Trusha UI. I renamed the UI folder custom as someone in game said to. now the game wont launch it just says Dark age of camelot has stopped working, any ideas?
Daoc has stopped working.

well i decide to just re-install the game instead of undo the ui thing. now i get the message please move the launcher files into an existing dark age of camelot installation. Which i think i did because when i open the Games > EA > DAoC the phoenix launcher icon is in there but keeps giving me that message. Im so confused, and mostly computer illiterate =(

It's too late to help with the first problem, but in case you have that problem again I want to save you some time and trouble.
You don't rename your UI folder custom.. your changing the UI folder name created a fault when DAOC was trying to start up and load your UI. Since you changed the name of the folder, DAOC wasn't able to load your UI which caused it to crash. Within your UI folder there is a sub-folder called custom and THAT is where you install any custom UI. If no custom folder exists, you can right click and create a new folder and name it custom. Most UIs will generate a custom folder for you so you really shouldn't have to do this.
The other thing you need to know is once you download and install a custom UI, you need to go to the character select screen IN GAME and select options, then change the UI from Atlantis skin to custom. This will direct the game to load the custom UI instead of the standard UI upon launch.

After unpacking custom.zip, move the Custom Folder to UI Folder in your DAoC Directory

Oh i understand what you guys are saying now. Now my problem is for some reason the game keep telling me i need to move the phoenix launcher into an existing doc instillation . but i see the phoenix exe in Games > EA > daoc just sure why i keep getting that message
