Hi Folks
I couldn't find a solution for my problem yet, thats why I am trying to reach out here.
I recently switched from a Fujitsu E744 to a Thinkpad X1 Carbon 6th Generation. I installed DAoC and Phoenix as instructed and copied the Pyth UI directory from the old DAoC Copy on my old laptop into the corresponding directory of my new laptop. Direct X, GPU drivers, etc. are all up to date.
Ever since running DAoC on my X1 it crashes randomly. This looks more or less like this: After ~10-200min the systems jumps to my desktop, then the screen turns completely black, I can still move my mouse and see the cursor for a while and can also hear DAoC background music. After 10-30 sec I cant move the cursor anymore, music is still there but the laptop seems to freeze completley. I cant use Cntrl + Alt + Del to get to task manager. Nothing helps but to switch off my laptop.
I dont think its a overheating issue as there is no relation between laptop uptime/usage and crash.
Thanks in advance for your help.
