Crashing when trying to change starting stats

I bought an Exerstats Stone and turned it into my trainer. The trainer told me to log out and change my starting stats . When I click done, I crash. I then log in and have the same stats. When I do a /respec it shows I still have a starting stat respec.

Any idea why it won't let me change my starting stats and I crash?

Log out, go to your DAoC directory, delete the "game.dll" file, launch camelot.exe & patch.
Then try again.
