Hello, Minstrel is a favorite class of mine. I saw in the changes that Minstrel charm is capped at 3 times per second making it harder to hold purple mobs. Minstrels could always hold purple mobs if they spammed the charm, sacrificing the ability to do other actions.

At level 46 with max skills, I was able to hold a level 56 monster 10 levels above me, taking no other action than maintaining the charm. Now at level 50, with max skills and bonuses, the max I am able to hold is a level 58.
This would indicate a change in the normal algorithm used to determine max level, and a hard cap put into place.

I get this may be in the best interest for RVR, would just be nice to know the system if possible.

Have you tried using MOF III to increase spell level to 50? Considering the purple charm is lvl41, getting too high resist rates around 58~59 would sound plausible.

From what Ive seen the charm level you cast has no effect on if it is resisted or not. Its entirely dependent on your music skill and level
