Can’t register for an account

Trying to get my friend to play with me and he is saying that he is not being allowed to register for a game account. Any suggestions? Did the admins block new users?

My wife had an issue where the new account creation screen only showed 3 out of the 4 checkboxes. I could see all 4 on my screen when doing a character creation. I couldn't get it to appear, so I checked the boxes and then tabbed once to go to the 4th box that I couldn't see, pressed the space bar to check the box and then I was able to click next to complete the registration.

Thank you -- I have been trying to create an account for months (not continually, just whenever I had some time on the weekends), and your post was the first one I found that solved my problem. Much appreciated!

I have the same issue as the OP. I'm setting up a gaming box for a buddy who wants to play daoc for the first time. I'm trying to create him an account but get the error "creating a new account is currently not possible".

New accounts are created using the Phoenix Launcher. We no longer allow accounts to be created via the forum.

I did try it via the launcher. However, when I tried again a few hours later, it worked.
