Cant Log in

Everytime I go to log in, it keep telling me to press ESC to exit the game.

I put in my log in Username and Password. It goes to the loading screen before the character screen … the loading bar doesn't fill up completely, and then it keeps telling me to "Press ESC to exit the game".

Whats going on?

I frequently get the same problem. The initial loading screen is displayed, and the loading bar starts to fill up, but it stops short with just a few millimeters to go.

I haven't yet found a way around it, and when it happens it usually means that I won't be playing DAoC that day. I've tried disconnecting and reconnecting to my router and even done a PC restart, but nothing solves the problem. Does this mean I have a problem with one of my DAoC files? I was playing the game earlier today without a problem, but then I had to go out for a couple of hours. I'm now back and find that I can't login. Bit of a bummer.

I have the same problem.

My loading bar on the loading screen goes up to 80% and then it breaks off, what am I doing wrong?

Help plz.

The problem to log in is still there. My loading bar to the char windows breaks off.
Can u help plz?

I'm sorry for not having an answer, but just wanted to post as I am suffering from the same problem.

I am able to get to the Phoenix log-in, hit log-in, and then the ensuing loading screen will work it's way up to 75-80%. Then a black screen and it quickly closes down.

Edit: I did a fresh install of both DAOC and the phoenix launcher and was able to log on. Hope that works for you as well!

Please try disabling anti virus, if it still doesn't work try reinstalling daoc and repatching
