I've tried several times to create an animist (I have 1 hib character currently). it goes through the character creation menu same as always, however when it returns me to the character selection screen, the new character isn't there. I went on Mid and confirmed I can create a mid character, then went back to hib and tried again with no success.
Can't create a new Hib char? Mid and Alb seem fine.

It appears to be race-specific. I cannot create an elf animist. I made a sylvan just fine just now, then tried to make an elf and it doesn't work. guess I won't be a pretty animist

There are certain race-class combinations that were not available during this patch that you are able to select during character creation.
They were allowed to become that class at a later date. i.e. you can't select Mauler as a class, even though it's on the character creation screen.
