cant create a character

downloaded the game fine, go to character creation, select race/class and attributes, then it brings me to a blank character page... any ideas? specifically a warlock, i was able to create a different class...

Warlocks are not available here. Catacombs classes are not available on Phoenix. Certain Class/Race combinations also are not available here.

I was reading in other threads that classes/races unavailable in previous patches (Like the version Phoenix is running) could not be removed as options in the character selection menu.
