Cannot save any settings: graphics, keyboard, UI

I've reported this before, but unfortunately could not be helped. I did a clean reinstall, downloaded everything again and still have the following error:

Every time I log into the game I have to set all all the options (windowed mode), all keys and settings (/snapback off for example) again. It's really annoying, hope it can be resolved before the end of Beta.

Thanks

Edit to add some more information:

- This happens even if I log out of a character but don't quit the game.
- The placement of UI items is not affected, but I can't seem to load a custom UI either, even if I select it in options and Bob's is installed
- It's not character specific, I can just load the character selection screen, change some graphics options and quit. Same effect.

after creating a character, UI files are stored in this folder:

C:\Users\<yourusername>\AppData\Roaming\Electronic Arts\Dark Age of Camelot\phoenix

You could try renaming the folder Phoenix, or even 2 folders higher "Electronic Arts" and creating a new toon. Ofcourse everything will be reset. See if it works if you change something then and log back in.
This is to test if there's something wrong with the folder (corruption, read/write right problems, ...)

I think non-character specific things like he described are stored in the same folder in the user.dat file.

Are you running the game as administrator?

I've tried that, renamed the folder Electronic Farts, took ages to load the game, then when i tried to play an existing character it crashed. Created a new character, changed some settings and it now works! So thanks for that, must have had some corrupted files or settings.
