Autentication IP

i try to follow the link for autenticate my IP .. but my antivirus block and allert me for trojan !!! because when i click the link he try to install a file .EXE on my pc..
WTF is that .exe file?
Why the antivirus block it?
Serius guys?

The verification mail does not link to suspicious sites and does not download anything; you prob got a phishing mail.

The official mail has these information:
From: [email protected]
Subject: Phoenix: Account Access Verification
And link goes to: https://auth.playphoenix.online/api/auth?token=X

The X is a long combination of characters and numbers.

Same here. I had to do it twice now. You can verify your email address several ways. I went to google myself and typed in check my ip address and it did it for me. Hope they get a fix or my account has been hacked and im back to gw2 lol.
