Any Chance For A US Based Server

The lag is just terrible here in Montana and your servers I believe in Germany? Is there any chance of a US server? or one that might provide a better connection? I have zero issue with any other games an no it's not my internet, theres a lot of space tween germany an montana so Im just hoping there might be a US based server because since the last server reset my connection to this particular game is just bunk an unplayable. LD's every 5 minutes today now which it hasnt done so far just triangles an squares.

They have one server. It's a private server. Opening two would literally divide the population. It would also double their cost. I highly doubt someone who is based out over there has any interest in opening a US based server. Just like I wouldn't open an EU server being that I live in the US if I ran my own.

They are getting alot of Ddos attacks from some probably butt hurt script kiddies or uthgard fanatics. It's a cause for some of the lag I would assume. It hits harder for those of us based in the US.

Especially NA users reported lags and connection issues several times within the last weeks.
Except for server internal reasons (e. g. memory leaks) there are some hints, that those issues
have their origin in the overseas routing or false dns caches (sorry if i am too technical here)

One thing that can help you out is to use a VPN ( at best optimized for games) .
By using such a service you can eventually bypass the faulty environment.

I played on US servers for years before without any issues, the trip across the atlantic only adds about 80-100 ms of delay.

Try using pingplotter or something similar to spot the lag and help get a clue what causes it.

You can also run a traceroute on the servers IP, to see if you get a bid delay on any step of the way.
