Account verification and more

Tried to log in and a message said Please check your e-mail to verify access, eventually got the e-mail and it said my account had been accessed from a different IP address and to only follow the link if I recognised the IP address. I checked the IP address supplied and it is not close to where I live so its iffy, however, there was no other link to follow to allow me to enter the game. So I come on here to post a message where it said did not recognise either my user name or password, so I go through a request a new password sent to my e-mail address, this worked ok and activated new password so I could post here, however when I had another attempt to log into the game it now said did not recognise any of the information submitted, so you think ok its a new password, so update that to the one recently sent and now its right back saying check your e-mail to verify etc with the same message as before, with no other way to log in. There seems to be a few post of this nature so what's happened? and how do I get to log in?
