Observed closing client to avoid PVP death. 3 days.
Amended:
After an internal investigation and looking at logs - it's obvious a crash occurred and a GM witnessed a possible use of a client crashing exploit. An update to the server rules went out yesterday with the following added:
3.1.1 Harassment is defined as any unwanted or unwelcome behavior beyond the limits of good taste, civility and appropriate game context. Harassment is further defined by who is being harassed and how they perceive it. They can then provide proof to Phoenix staff where a final determination will take place deciding whether or not it is indeed harassment.
3.1.2 Training is defined as pulling, or leading a hostile npc or creature along behind you and attempting to get it to attack another player who does not desire that engagement. Griefing, as closing the client during a fight in RvR will be punished with a ban.
Per 3.1.2 - this is a bannable offense. However, after discussion internally and due to the fact the logs do not give us 100% certainty on it being a client initiated crash AND a lack of visibility for players for when rules are updated, we have decided to reduce the suspension.
We have removed the 3 day ban from the account and have placed an official warning on the account instead.
In regards to the inappropriate language this player spewed in Discord at the staff we will be issuing a 72 hour Discord ban and a 72 hour account mute in hopes that they learn that such language will not be tolerated.
Moving forward - we will be making our rule changes more apparent and highlighted in a more visible way so players are fully aware of any admendments to the server rules.
