Spells with damage and snare components

Hi - I did some searching online and wasn't able to find an answer to this, was hoping the community could help clarify:

I know immunity timers exist for cc like stuns and roots - I imagine an immunity timer for snare effects exists as well. Do these spells trigger the immunity timer for snares/speed decreases?

In other words, can you snare melee indefinitely with these type of spells (assuming purge isn't available)?

Snare-nukes have no immunity, but if you nuke a target that has been rooted in the last 60 seconds the snare will not apply; however you can root someone you've been snare-nuking.

Thanks for explaining this, I hadn't realized the interaction between root and snares. Much appreciated

I have noticed that on my skald the insta casted snare does give immunity to the rear positional hammer snare.

IIRC any snare-only spell grants root/snare immunity. VW's does at least, and I believe so does cabby's (though I'm not sure I've ever even seen it cast).
