Hello all, first off I am loving the server and what you've custom changed. Having bags of fun at the moment but there are a few things which i'd like to discuss.
Spell resists: So I am playing a 49+14 earth spec wizz (50 all spell lines) and the average spell resist i get is around 10%, this seems a little high to me. I find it very frustrating gameplay wise when I am playing a class which is basically a glass cannon. I have to pick my battles (know when to run and when to stay), stay out of los and kite etc etc to be competitive. So when a spell like a root or nuke or whatever, does not land it has a big impact on wether I live or die. I feel casters are challenging already to play and the baseline 10% spell resist (and the high miss rate of bolts) is a bit unfair, something below 5% would be acceptable.
I dont know if this is a custom change or is livelike per patch 1.65 but in the years playing on live I've barely noticed spell resists. Bolts would only miss against people in melee combat or get blocked by shields. I'd like to know what everyone thinks about this so please discuss. Maybe theres a good reason behind it.
