RvR Tasks - What is Required for credit? are you rewarded if Offline?

I have acouple questions regarding what it takes to actually be eligible for the participation bonus...

do you get the reward if you're offline?
do you get the reward if you're online on a different toon?
how long do you have to stand near a flag to be eligible?
can i run into a keep area when (attack x keep) task is going, and be eligible or do i need to nuke the door or die to guards? - is there a way for a solo to get credit, without dieing?
How long do i need to stand in a keep when (defend x keep) is going?

You have to in some way actively engage in an on-going task to "participate" - so deal/receive damage or help capture a flag. Just "being there" is not enough.

And yes, you have to stay on your toon until the task is completed to receive credit/rps.

i always thought logging out would clear your participation, but as long as you are back logged in (on the toon that participated) you get the reward

For most of the tasks, like "Fight in Hadrian's Wall/Emain/Etc", you just need to die or do damage in that zone (involving a player character).

The attack/defend keep tasks are a little bit more involved, but I seem to get credit if I go inside the keep while defending or attack the door, if attacking.

It's a great way to earn RPs. I'm not sure why more lowbies don't do it. The Realm Abilities are great for leveling.
