RvR Tasks Should Last Longer

The new rvr task system has been improving, but the zone and keep tasks end too quickly. The tasks will last like 30 minutes, then you have to run across a few zones for the next one. Too much zone hopping and it feels repetitive.

Running across 3 zones to take part in a 5 minute keep fight and rinse/repeat is not ideal. Each task should last a few hours or so and more zones should be in the rotation. Perhaps instead of 1 keep take, each keep in that zone would be contested. So like in Breifine you would fight for one keep, then it would switch to the next keep in the zone etc.. and once each keep has been fought over the task ends.

It is too stagnant and the rp pool for zone tasks is too low. We should fight in Emain/Odins/Hadrians for a few hours not 20 minures or so. Currently the zone tasks are changing before many players can even reach or get organized in a zone.

I like the fast pace of the tasks. If a task is bad you know in 30 mins there are others popping up.

I like when action is focused in one realm each day/night.

I would prefer the idea of keep take/defence tasks that rotate between all keeps in one realm and a diff realm each night.

And instead of having the random frontier zone to farm task, just have an ongoing task for the zone of the day that every so often will periodically reward the players participating.

I tend to disagree. It is nice to be able to log in and play for an hour and feel like you have something tangible to accomplish with decent rewards. The pacing is actually really nice right now.

This claim about logging on for a bit and accomplishing something means just getting free rp at keeps

Which is fine, but a lot of casual players are having trouble reaching the keep before the task even ends. If you participate in the task at anytime you should still get the RP reward even if you log off before it finishes. So why not just make the tasks last longer. Less zone hopping more fighting.

Not only they should be longer but they should be (much) more complex, but also less specific.

A good task would be: conquest TWO (random) keeps in the hibernian frontier in the next 100 minutes. Hibs get to defend the frontier, of course.

If the attack is succesfull the next task would be to defend the keeps and for the hibs the task would be to take them back, and the fight goes on in Hibernia.
If the attack is NOT succcesfull (and essentially the Hibs defended their frontier) the next task would point you to a different frontier (like conquest TWO keeps in Midgard etc...)

Multiple keep takes for the keep tasks is probably better than what we currently have.
