I saw the post on 1v1 etiquette but it didn't seem like there was a specific policy recognized by the server admins. Does that mean Red = Dead is ok? I love the look of the server and all the changes but it comes down to the community really.
Trying to start over (me, wife, brother, father). My whole family played on igraine and at ToA moved to classic and on both servers people generally thanked us for adding. It wasn't until Uthgard that people yelled at us for helping-- to the point where every friendly would die in clumps because no one was helping one another-- and 8 mans wouldnt help on retaking keeps because it wasn't 8v8 -- but then enemies (that the 8mans wanted all along) would swoop in and clean us out. It felt toxic and isolating, demoralizing to see friendlies watching you die or getting yelled at for saving someone's life. We didn't last on that server, a lot of people confused fair play and realm pride for elitism. Is that going to happen here?
