all a realm timer does is keep people offline, when the only goal is to keep people online.. ;\
perhaps it is time to less'n it so there is never a reason for anyone who wants to go play not be able to
-how many people are offline when they don't want to be cuz they wanna switch realm for a bit ?
-how many people who run in set 8mans cant always go out and solo/duo/trio or something while they are waiting on their guildies to get home, because they gotta be to stuck on a schedule with a guild that swaps realms few times a week ect
-how many people cant get a grp on 1 realm and get fed up and have to be offline for 12h to try another ?
there is so many dif -how many's you could type that make up quite a lot of people being offline when perhaps they wouldn't be
action always builds upon it self, if there is always stuff out to fight people tend to keep logging in more and when they do that others do it more and it fuels itself bigger and bigger ect
I dunno what the timer should be, id say 1h, 2-3h at the most, that still keeps people offline to long imo at 2-3h, and if a zerg is out and about and u don't wanna let people swap to defend and change the flow of how the game would of naturally played out that night as a reason, well fk that imo, this si the dark ages, chaos, war, mayham, always allow there be someone for each other to fight !
