RE: Razilly's broadcast stating Duel/Bowtown is strictly forbidden

During low population time few people were gathered/spectating and respecting 1v1 fights, no cross realm was involved, no 3rd party program was involved and a GM broadcasts a message stating what is being done is 'forbidden'. There is nothing in the rules stating you must attack everyone, this gameplay breeched no rules and yet is 'forbidden'.

There is focus towards 8v8/BG with balance and changes, also with regards to hosting GvG events (8man duels), but to forbid someone's chosen style of gameplay when its at no detriment to others, I struggle to see the concern of the GM.

Clarification to what is forbidden would be appreciated as there is no rule written down about it.

The trouble is, Bowtowns can very quickly become toxic. Where anyone not respecting the /bow get whined at. Now they do happen from time to time without any sort of organisation but they are pretty much frowned upon. I do agree more needs to be done for the solo play style but Bowtowns isn't it.

Think yourself lucky it's not live, back in the GOA days an angst ridden GM used to spawn high level mobs on duellers

The problem is, staff cant expect players hold on rules, if they are hiden in a thread.
This "untold" rules need to get down in the rules section and not hided. Otherwise staff have a moral problem to repressive and enforce the "thread-rules" and make players upset.
Ofc, staff have kind of "stay your ground" or in german: "Houseright", but to punish player for inofficla rules is a big problem for the serversucess in future.

And the rules should get down in most important languages of community.
So many germans or frenchies around which not understand english.

We just dont want bow towns, where people are sitting in a circle and doing their fair fights while others that arent invited to the party, will get zerged down and/or insulted. We had several situations like this before and we told you guys multiple times before, that this is violating the rules.

You can add on a fight or you can watch a fight. Both is fine and within the rules. But move on after a fight, dont insult anyone who is not looking for fair fights, dont intentionally break CC on enemies to help them versus your realm. All these things happened in the past and are strictly forbidden. Btw, those things are forbidden for everyone and it doesnt matter if you are solo, smallman or 8man.
