Procs (Beware - stealther complaining)

I am a little disappointed with some of my assassin vs assassin fights tonight. I usually do decent unless hitting a higher rank stealther, which is fair to me. Tonight i ran into a RR3 NS twice, both times i got destroyed strictly due to template. First fight neither landed PA, I landed evade stun, he healed up a large amount of hp after the stun, then used heal pot on top of that. His health jumped 30-40% if not a little more. It seemed like half of my swings healed him some, i apply disease every fight and attempt to keep them diseased. the second fight he flat out doubled my dps each swing, and the procs healed a few swings. My template is nothing great, but i have capped stats, most resists capped, 4.0 LA and 4.2 MH weaps, am SZ spec with comp 51 on Axe, La, venom, and stealth, RR 4L3. I put ablatives on my armor cause i don't have the plats or the time to farm plat quickly, it's a slow trickle to my rr5 suit. Sadly, it seems that the individual's with more time are able to have an "Iwin" suit. Most of my fights have felt fair, but the ones with heal procs involved, seem almost impossible to win. I am a little surprised cause the server feels much more casual friendly, except when running into these heal proc temps.

ablatives and healprocs cost almost the same... :

he was probably also using more buffcharges than you (i am assuming that you don't run as many buffs as possible, if you are already stingy regarding the cost of healproccs)

and to top it off: Bladeshades wipe the floor with SBs. The match-up isn't even close. Devs have stated they are monitoring the situation but don't have a viable solution yet...we haven't gotten an update for quite some time on that stance though

When i was temping the heal procs were 1p and ablatives were 200g or so, if i remember correctly. I'm sure he was running more buffs, i use the combined forces and an endo pot. I don't think i have ran into a ton of blade shades, may be why i was surprised by the fights.

Ablatives cost 75 ash and Heal cost 100 ash to make. They cost almost the same in gold to make (255g vs 275g roughly).

I'd stop buying from housing and find a reliable alchemist. I usually only charge material cost + 100-200g tip depending on the order size.

try using some damage add charges like from "ring of the cleaver" they only last 30secs but they give you a decent damage boost since sbs do -dam on hib leather also try running specc,str/con and dex/qui charge it will be very costly tho despite that you could think about a faster offhand apparently the speed also affects the mainhand swingspeed in mid at least thats what I was being told.

It seems to me, the Problem lays somewhere else. I suppose that celtic dual from ns/ranger is the same dmg table like blademaster's. wich would ne totally wrong

So you run unbuffed and auto lose, no matter what procs you run.

Either you have the money to run fully charged or you shouldn't try to 1v1, you will get smashed.
And use a faster offhand, you are gimping yourself for no reason with a 4.0 offhand.

1. Faster offhand
2. Ablatives on armor and TG vest
3. Str/con charge and if you have the cash d/q charge
4. Don't run full SZ. The damage from CS is better.
5. Purge 2 for enemy stuns.
6. Realize that bladeshades should win since they are hitting your slash weak leather, where as you are not.
7. TG str/con debuff proccing sword

I am still amazed that in a game that has been out so long and so many different free shards, there is still people that have such poor understanding of what works on a SB, or assassins in general.

2.4/2.9 off hand vs 4.0 spd off hand with is 0.6 sec difference with near capped quickness and 17% haste with an extra 30-40 extra dmg per swing.

Use dmg shield pots...

Use AF charge...

SZ is fine if you don't mind losing stun from CD

TG sword is fine but understand that the 54 con portion of debuff is wasted if you have already done more than 150dmg to the target. Unless this shard changed how con debuff is applied it does not act as free dmg. The str debuff is only 1/2 as effective vs thrust and pierce spec targets. My personal choice is DOT procs and dragonmight mainhand. Dragonmight is 64tick dotx6, crafted dot is 50 or 60 dmg dot tick x5(or6 i cant remember), and Lifebane poison is another 64dmg dot. Even with resists that's 40x6, 35x5(6), 40x5 of free dmg, plus your dmg shield, and if you have charge timer up can use a dmg add with 40+ more dmg perswing. So thats 500ish + of free dmg from procs and added 200-300 from dmg add and dmg shield unaffected by ablatives.

There is a noticeable difference in players of all realms that grasp this and do very well, but the assassin pool on this server is so diluted by the bad that these good players are few and far between.

Are all these poisons stacking without overwriting? Might be something to think about, if it actually works like that.

It sounds like you're using the lower-level ablatives and not the 150 point value ablatives which is called Epic. As other posters have said the Epic ablative costs nearly as much as the Epic healing reactive

They all stack and have for years, no different here.

They stack as long as the damage type is different. Body, cold, energy, etc

Based on some of these replies, I don't think i understand assassins on this server. The last time i played an assassin on live slow offhand/mainhand worked well, that was with %melee combat speed though. I did not put the correct armor procs on, mine do not delve for 150. Thank you for the feedback guys.

I'm no expert, but it's much weaker damage table wise.

At least 22% weaker maybe more.
