pets should not move faster than players sprinting

necro pet and hunter pets move faster than a play sprinting? however a chanter pet moves SLOWER when put in to combat to attack a player. please make all pet move equal to sprint. no reason a player sprinting gets chased down by a pet that cant be outrun on sprint.

Mh, necro pet is a player itself so it is okish I guess. Hunter (pet) was buffed some time ago so it is intended.

Yes they should, but they don't all have to run at sprint speed. My pet already provides enough utility without sprinting, but hunter pets are literally just a damage add/interrupt, so I see no issue with them running.

I like that there's variety in pet movement speeds, in general.

I really miss that charmed mobs have diffrent speed.
Goblins horses giants ran fast if i remember correct, and some pets healed well.

Charmed pets are really nerfed

cabba pet gets a special speed buff therefore it is intended that (some) pets are as fast or faster than sprint, does it suck? yes. is it still intended? yes.

otherwise most pets would be absolutely useless.
btw chanter pet has snare nuke so it should not be a problem at all for the pet to reach the target ....

I don't think necro pets outrun players, you sure?
If it did, then it should be either a bug, or you having been snared.

you can that cast pet rupt and this pet going in the melee with normal speed. Cabby pet or SM pet stun sometimes two or three time in a row and that is a joke
for hybrid tanks ^^.

Try fighting an ellyl champion or frost stallion pet with that cold dd proc.

If hunter pet has hastener buff it moves faster than sprint. Otherwise mine never connects with a runner.

You may also have a bad connection to the server. I often am outrun by other players when I kite to reapply poisons to my wep.

Pets run slightly faster than players because players dont have any pathing points to walk on like if you run around a tower. So you dont run away from your pet
Same goes for Necro. If pets had the exact same speed the Shade could outrun their own pet

depends on pet imho...

a wind/air elemental from theurg should run faster then a player sprinting... because its air.

But basicly, yeah pets should not run faster then a player sprinting...
