Hi,

Since i'm quite new to the game I would like ti ask for a RvR guide for new players.

For veterans It can be easy but I can assure you that me and many other are having issue on understand how everything work.

It Is a very old game and at that time games were not so new player friendly.

I'm talking about bg, keep, many Maps, warmap etc.

About the warmap It looks like we can teleport in some of out keeps right?

And in the perspective of a lvling charactet, which are the lvl limite for each zone?

And lastly i would ask about options, buff and all this stuff everyone seems to carry in rvr and we dont know about.

Thanks a lot, every answer will make the process easier for us

Ok, battlegrounds are level specific, 20-24, 25-29, and 30-34. If you kill the guards, take down the doors and kill the captain you will get xp and access to the npc that you can turn items into.

You can port to friendly keeps so long as that keep owns all of its towers as well. If any of the keeps in the chain from the main portal keep to where you want to go is enemy owned, you cannot port.

You can start leveling behind the mile gate at around level 12. You can level from there up in the in the frontiers on mobs or players, but remember that with the added xp bonus of leveling up where enemy players are comes the chance that those enemies can and will kill you.

You can play a main buffing class and get buffs, or at level 10 you can buy or make potions that will buff your stats and make your character stronger for 10 minutes. At level 30 you gain access to combined forces potions which fully buffs your character with 1 potion. Also there are mana regen potions and invigorating potions. All of these can be crafted by an alchemist or purchased in housing from other players.

Depending on your class, you want not only use the buffpotion, regeneration potion, but also items with charges in the inventory, which can cast an Ablative on you, or heals you, or restores a good chunk of your mana for you (not reg over time but instant reg), which can make the difference in if you stay alive or die in a direct engagement.

You also want to invest in a full all cap stat gear. Otherwise you are just fast food for enemy players.
