New task setup promotes coastguarding/No incentive to roam

It's pretty clear that if there is no incentive to roam people will just swirl in circles in their smallmans at their own main keeps.

Or am i wrong.

It looks like they want people just camping their own bridge. Its terrible.... the task system drove people to travel.

I think we can agree with the amount of people that still play this game. put in molvik or something as a battleground for rvr.

I have been playing the server now for around a month and a half. I have never posted about anything but I have to add my 2cents to this change. There has been no task and no action the last 3 nights in a row when I log in. The population falls off as soon as the task disappear. Please change it back so the task will generate it self if nothing is happening. You can nerf the amount of rps it gives or what ever you are trying to fix but at least make it so it is Automatic and not set up to trigger only if something is happening.

I would suggest to set up the task to revert to the towers in EV if nothing else triggers them to go elsewhere. That would push the action to a smaller zone later at night. and get people away from camping bridges and docks.

As opposed to camping x keep for task
Difference now is people tend to show up on some number instead of 1 by 1 being jumped by keep humping mob

At the least a bridge doesn't have guards chasing you (too bad still a regiment of archers waiting to shoot)

I personally think BG's would be even more full if you din't have 1/3 of your realm humping keep for task, and while doing so hoping to get a kill. I suggest take the keep task out completely, and ramp up the guard task or actually rvr task. People have said in the past "its a way for ppl to catch up in rr". Well when the majority of the people doing it are below 50, and or rr5+ I think that is a poor excuse. Not to mention it doesn't help to bring anyone out further in the frontier and experience how the game was suppose to be played (in my opinion). Meh, who am. Just a dude who has played this game far too long Have a good weekend everyone!
