For sure, I can see the purpose. With Det 3 (I think?) CC won't be quite as bad on them, and they can focus cast or even pbaoe assist the SMs with the big blue hammers. It could work.

And the beautiful thing about Phoenix is, if it doesn't, no big deal. He/she or the entire group can re-roll and be back out RvRing within a week or two on Phoenix.
