Interesting uncommon/gimp RvR specs

I tend to steer towards playing the more unusual specs/builds/race class combinations in games and DAOC is really no different, that being said I haven't played this game much in a very long time and was just wondering what unusual stuff people have had fun on in the past? Go go go

Alb try matter sorc. Like 50 matter 20 mind or something. You won't get groups, prepare to suffer. Melee scout. Same thing, you won't get groups, prepare to suffer. Smite cleric. You die like a dog if they resist ur mez or purge it. 50 spirit cab, speed ur pet into people and run away.

Hib-- nature druid, solo a lot. Warden, solo a lot, but get twf, solo any non speed class-- valewalker, etc.

Mid-- solo aug healer or some such nonsense. Melee hunter. Summon sm in rvr. Can res.

I had a light chanter for a while on Uth that I really enjoyed playing. It was tough getting groups since people expect the chanter to debuff, and light chanters don't have the utilty of light ments/elds.

Was pretty fun to jump on the heat debuff train with another chanter and blow stuff up alongside my underhill buddy though.

Most solo char

Solo 45 body 25 spirit 11 matter caba on uth 1, moc 3 with 90% LT return and red haste debuff allowed me to survive vs high rr assassin even 2 vs 1 .

Max lev juggernout enchanter and caster pet

50 blunt 50 cd rest parry bm , maybe with reflex attack

Kitewalker with moc

Melee theurgist. HO with PD and adrenilne rush. Use mezz and roots and join the melee train.

Highlander scout with 50 slash 42 shield and 40 bow. 10 stealth for safe fall.

50 Spirit cabby is not gimp in fact with mastery of arcane and Jugger and ability to still debuff your pretty nasty.

put your pet on enmy healer juggger it and watch enmy healer die in two 3 hits if no one cc or deals with it

That was my reaver's spec on live shortly after the class came out. It worked great. I preferred slash later on. Nothing bad to say about flex. Awesome style line -- I just found thrust and slash easier to operate with all my other RA's, spells, etc.

Scout with full shield/slash spec ip/purge
Can be nasty vs Mid stealthers
( maybe just a onetrick pony to hunt down sbs tho.. )

Nature Druid with moc seems pretty fun
( maybe in a 'dead' zone, surely not in Emain cause of the traffic )

I remember this one healer on live server who was ripping solo,
forgot the name and the video unfortunately ...

I dont remember the correct spec but it was something like

48 chants
50 2handed
37 slash
7 shield
Rest parry

...

Worked amaizing with old ras .. especialy at the time before sc where out

which is qhy i wanted to gimp it, since the thread is about gimp speccs

nah to be fair, i didn't expect that to be a viable specc...i admit
is the dmg add in PF really worth it to leave so much weaponskill and styledmg on the table?
39blades is completly fine...IF you use mainly CD styles with high CD, but your CD is also very low, so shouldn't weapon be higher?

39blades is completly fine...IF you use mainly CD styles with high CD, but your CD is also very low, so shouldn't weapon be higher?

I only use CD side and behind style, I use the fire blade chain for anytime. Weapon skill is 1366 I think, I have to check. 319 str buffed.

For gimp, my very first daoc toon was an SB, I had no idea how to spec so I spread point across all spec lines

Left-axe savage

Dont exacly remember the mechanics, but i think you spec both Axe and enough H2H for quad hits, with pretty low Savagery, then just dual-weild super slow axes

(not sure if it actually works on this server though)

I remember dual-axe savages being a thing for a short while though xD

Edit: At least i think i remember hah..

Someone with a 45+ savage or lots of respecs available should do some testing imo

That is actually a legit spec, for solo Paladin. I have that on LIVE on a Highlander. Very legit spec to run.
