not sure if misunderstanding OP or actually opposing his idea

he isn't talking about the duration of the buffs, he is talking about the timer that you have to wait after being in combat to rebuff

What does that mean?

I guess on a rez mid-battle, you would be able to pot quickly, but then it should be based around the rez. Otherwise, I don't see any downside to being able to pot anytime.

Dont know how long the timer actually is, but having a longer combat timer on combined pots would sound pretty reasonable to me:
So you have to make a decision between single and combined pot.
Guess having the combined pot timer only slightly longer is a good trade-off.
So they are still stronger than single pots, but there is still a use for single pot for moments where you cant handle a long combat timer.

The point behind it is you cant get rezzed/PRd and instantly pot and have buffs going on you. They don't want that.

Its not about delay from release its about delay from Combat. Im not sure how the coding works obv but prolly alot more of a hassel to do something like that then make it a blanket thing. And honestly you die and if you release within 10 sec press on healer cure run out get haster and ready to go you have like a 30 sec wait? just run and buff a bit down.

I have been in combat.

I win the fight.

My buffs start to fade.

I cant use pots for 1 minute after combat. I get poped by ranger with 15 seconds left to be able to pot.
I cant use buff pots in combat.

I kill the ranger.

I get out of combat, I run away, I run for 50 seconds.

I get added my a minstrel. I still cant pot.

The combat timers is way over what it should be. An entire 8 man can rebuff and move out before I can use the pots.

Anyone remember swapping in buff-gear to use pots back on classic servers?

Yeah it kind of sucks solo, the timer is needed for full groups and zergs though.

Maybe 30 seconds would be enough.

I use the potions, and yeah it sucks, but its only a minute... and that save from jank pt buffs after a rezz or debuff
