Kobold>valk>troll imo. Valkyn if you want to racial resists but kobold is always a better option.

Exactly this! Kobold have most dex. Thats always your main stat as caster. As BD you have many instants too, but you can assistnuke great! And there is dex always welcome. And you a little more sneaky as Kobold. A Troll is seen and gets caught in Odins Gate from Hadrians Wall or Emain Macha!
