5-1 Ratio in Zone cut RPS in half?

If not half what ratio do you think is fair for the overpopulated realm when in zone. If there is literally a 5-1 ratio in the zone do you think they should be awarded the same amount of RPS as the underpopulated realm?

Or should we just drastically increased the RP bonus for under population?

Thoughts?

There is an underpopulation bonus which is dynamic. Just do /underpop ig and you will see which realm is getting what bonus.

Absolutely as there should be. However, do you think that slight bump in RPS is proportional to the underdog?

I think a proportional bonus is not fair. If you get realm points or not is binary in daoc. The realm with most players in the zone will win fights out of proportion due to outnumbering enemies in most fights and hence gets more rps overall with a proportional bonus.

by this logic there is 0 incentive to play underpopulated realms, unless you actually enjoy being fish food. Like you say, more players in the zone = more kills, so by that same logic, if there are fewer players of your team in a zone, you will get fewer kills/be killed more often. The RP balance tries to make up for that fact.

Well my post was supporting higher bonus than just proportional to player numbers in FZ.
