Hello everyone, just downloaded and looking forward to play the game this weekend.

I never played daoc before, only eq and wow AND some other mmos not even worth mentioning.

Was wondering if there a guide you can recommend AND any comments about bards AND druids are welcome, i loved my bard in eq AND always end up playing a druid in everygame fue their versatily... Are those clases similar to eq or wow?

I also played EQ and WOW.

EQ Bards: Bards in DAOC don't have nearly the solo capabilities or kiting capabilities like they do in EQ, be prepared to group, a lot, if you want to get anything done PVE wise. They do have single target and AOE mezzes, so in a pvp setting you are essentially guaranteed a spot in a group any time you want it. They offer "base" buffs, as well as songs to increase speed, power, endurance, or health regen.

WoW Druids: No shape-shifting like WoW druids, and similar to bards they don't have abundant amount of solo PVE potential, but they certainly fair better. Nature spec includes roots and dots as well as a pet to fight with you. It's doable solo, but it's slow going. They offer "spec" buffs on top of base buffs, a combo of STR/CON or DEX/QUI that is not available to any other natural spec in hib. Regrowth is purely heals, nurture is for buffs, and nature is their "dps/solo/cc" spec, but you would never grab a druid in DAOC to fill a DPS slot like you would in WoW.

EQ Druids: I guess more comparable to DAOC druids, in that they have the capability to solo but aren't exactly the most efficient. Not really a need to go spell by spell and compare similarities and differences, but I would say their play style is closer than WoW druids by a longshot.

Thanks for the reply's!

Btw any other wiki available for english or spanish speakers? found http://camelotherald.wikia.com/wiki/Dark_Age_of_Camelot_Wiki but i guess that includes future expansions but least gives insight.

Liked also druids and bards in other games due their transportantion and movement capabilities to explore and even make some cash transporting people (everquest), are there any classes with these tools?

Also Patron suggested i should start with paladin thats correct?, will check it out thanks!

i have no experience in Albion since i dont like camelot city, but yeah i think pala would be a nice possibility to start, even you can solo some mobs very good with hit 2h and switch on shield to block monsters attack but thats a pro tip

have fun
