Jewel of the Deceiver - Phoenix Freeshard

was thinking of getting it for SB - but the 4p one on the CM is about 4x too much for my wallet,

anyone done this? or know if this guy is hard to farm? (or the mob that i need?)

I soloedd him with a sup bonedancer but took about 15mins of kiting and lots pots. Your pets don't last so don't worry when they die.

Sry man wrong mob, thought it was Karig. Got them mixed up. I will pop on and try later. I did try the thousand eyes mob in Alb for an hour or so, didn't drop any jewel after around 12 kills.

Yes, that's the right mob. Drop rate is lowish, so just gotta have patience, I'm afraid.

It IS Kariig. ^^ Farmed him few hours yesterday and again today (didn't drop the jewel yesterday). As Galahad said, u have to be patient and kill him a few times (respawn is bit slow) to drop the jewel, or being lucky and get it right away. /shrug

As for the farmable thing, yes, he is only orange con, but few roaming other oras around, so not a good idea to go afk. ;-)

actually got the Jewel first time! so that was good !

however, I tried to find the mob for Ring of The Butcher, anyone ever farmed this? couldnt find the mob - seen about 20 named Drakulv mobs, but not him =/

While i was farming this mob (Kariig) yesterday, a pal of mine was farming Arnulv, and we talked today about it, he said the map near the picture of allhakazam is accurate (the mark), but u must click the right mob (all yellow/ora it seems). Try to have a look again. ;-)

yeah, came across so many mobs

killed a few of them, there was one called Ulv! but still couldnt find him, certainly not in the area on allakhazam,

i'll try again later sure

I vaguely remember that when we were talking about this, i was kinda busy with 2 adds so pardon me if i'm not 100% sure, but i think he said he had to kill few mobs around to spawn the mob ? But i'm 100% sure he told me the allhakazam mark on the map was pretty accurate (because like you i told him that when i was in the area, i didn't spot the mob). Will have a look myself tomorrow there, bit late here. ^^

seen an Ulf and a Wyulf but no Amulf, maybe i have to kil them all,
