Feather droprate/quantity - Phoenix Freeshard

Question coming from a new player, I read all the information on the feather system and the mobs who drop them but I cant find any information on the droprate or the amount that drops from said mobs, can anybody drop some knowledge on this please ?

i can't give you numbers, but afaik every mob (that drops...aka all mobs above lvl X (iirr it was lvl63+) / all mobs in TG / most bosses in other endgame dungeons / the drakes drop a certain amount of feathers, that is then divided between all players.

A dragon raid with ~210players gave me 556feathers, i assume with only ~50players everyone would get around 2k feathers.

Killing a few of the purple mobs in DF right below the "realm area" gave me 1-2feathers in a fullgrp, but it was a really small sample as we got wiped by hibs within a few minutes going there ^^

For more examples people who have already actively farmed them need to respond

The non-boss mobs I have farmed in DF and AC (when non bosses in AC still gave feathers) gave 2 per kill. Didn't seem to matter whether I was duo, trio or FG.

Can't comment on bosses, haven't killed any, but I have seem anecdotal evidence of about 2-4k for a Sidi run.

yeah, it seems i was wrong and the amount of feathers dropped is a fixed amount from most normal mobs (all that i tried)

The Boss we killed in TG with "only" ~50people though gave almost 300feathers, instead of the ~250 when we were in with 300people.

Theory: Bosses have a fixed amount that everyone gets, and a pool that is divided through participators (just pulling this out of my arse though, believe with caution)

The amount of feathers per mob may vary because every mob has a fixed and a pool amount of feathers. Fixed means that everyone who helped killing the boss will get this amount of feathers, no matter if 1 or 100 players attacked the mob. The pool amount of players will be distributed between all players.
