So which to spec?

Leveling?
50 with considering weapon availability?
50 with no specific weapon consideration?

I'd go axe while leveling so if you solo you get the evade stun at 34. I'm sure you'll be able to group more than my SB did but outside of that anything works. In groups you'll be spamming positionals anyway.

At 50 hammer is good for the snare styles, Sword is good for the str/con debuff proc TG sword. Some even go a split spec so they can swap crush/slash depending on target and get the best of both worlds.

Early leveling?

For leveling just dump points into whatever weapon drops and keep weapon and LA maxed and rest into parry.

Once you get close to 50, respec to the comp axe/sword, comp hammer, 50 LA, rest parry.
