Warrior 2h burst w/o quick

Hey guys, was thinking about making a temp without quickness when 2h is out on my Troll warrior for 8man.

What is your thoughts?

Thinking that usualy warrior peels, and when assistent om melee train, Its often only a couple of hits before peeling again, and celerity should be up aswell.

Is it worth it? How Big is the dmg diff with and without quick when hitting with 2h?

and what exactly is your plan? one hitting enemys? do you expect 1,8k hits? LOL

in this game, just like most other games -> attack speed is king! what matters is dmg over time. just take a look at this thread:

and take a closer look at troll vs. valkyn -> attack speed wins

i know in the past it was "common knowledge" dps classes should not take quickness into their templates..... well for sure a single hit can be very high but wont kill anything though

I feel like now with the ridiculous re implementation of the 1-50% physical damage variance that people who have no idea what it meant voted for ( and adding more useless rng to fights) could make the 2h swing on the low end look pretty weak too. Then you also have your misses,parry,evade,bubble, block etc.

Go for dps, cap it all! Id be interested to hear if someone had success recently, in doing the no QUI thing.

with 35 qui, 5.8 weapon, 0.74 GR (conquer), 65 spec, 16.5 weapon, without haste/cele and 385 str and a random 50 (max possible variance) roll you should hit the dummy (approx chain armor like) for ~567 @ 5.97s swingtime.

with 210qui/14% haste it should be ~472 damage / hit @ 3.38s swingtime

didn't double checked all my values, but it should be somewhat accurate.

Around 2003/4 we used to do that with arms and 6.0 2h? and it was wonderful, but here the overall HP increase (and other ttk stuff) removed the high alpha play imho



EDIT:
cap (dmg modifier 3.0) damage with above stats would be ~742 / 641

6s swing time lol

i know that on live some champs used to onehit casters with zero quick temp but back in the days casters only had around 900hp unbuffed
