Tri spec healer

Are there any good tri spec healers? Or am I wishful thinking?

I was originally thinking Aug/mending, but it's quite possible I will be rvr'ing in a small group (4-5), primarily with a skald, warrior, aug/cave shaman, my healer and occasionally a BD.

Was thinking 38pac is minimum, but can't decide where I should put aug and mend at. I was thinking some jank spec of 38pac, 22mend (for insta heals) and 31aug, but that doesn't feel right.

Any suggestions?

Not an expert, but our smallmen that has one healer is currently experiemting with 19aug/36pac/35mend
The instant AoE-stun isn't THAT important imo...although at low-RR without laods of castspeed-RAs it can be usefull to get the upper hand in some engagements (but still...you are giving the enemy cheap stun immunity)

But he is eyeing quite a few different speccs, we just didn't want to reduce healing too much "just" for slightly better buffs and celerity. (We were running without any aug on him for the longest time before)

Some people call 3 spec when u are main paci/mand with 1st celerity... when I play 3 spec healer I was aug/mand (buff/resist + yellow celerity and a fast heal 2.1 or similar) and I have a low paci spec just for blue are mezz and root.

Single and blue mezz are good anyway if you inc small man, but you can't run without decent buff and resist imho

When I hear trispec healer my hears bleeds.
Tough, everything is viable if you make it work, afaik trispec is pretty popular in UStz. Imho is a jack of all trade that gives you awfull losses in performances. But if you stick to small men might be ok; if you do keeptake will be perfect.

For everything else, Hangel said it all.

Ok. I think tri-spec is out the door.

The going on thought now is the following two specs for healers in rvr:

40+mend/36aug
40+mend/36pac

I thought the main goal in aug was to get all yellow resists which requires 37 aug, which you don't have enough skill points for. Most thoughts are 40mend for 3sec cure NS.

I'm almost certain I want to to roll an aug healer. They seem to be a more wanted/needed class.

Thought?

If you want to play trispec, you should take most utility.
That means the spec with 36 pac, 26 aug and 30 mend.
But you need to be very trained to be worth with that spec. You have to use all spec lines and be very busy, then its great.
Pro: you are flexible as second Healer pick
Contra: If you are always play in a perfect 8 man grp with same ppl, 40 mend and full pac/aug is always best combo on both healer.

it's the rvr that almost demands cure NS out of every healer. That means 40mend.

I suppose if you just run around in a zerg, you could not specialize as much.

It's not me. It's the meta...

i always thought that too, but in reality i most nights i (or my healer) never get NSed at all...
last friday was a huge exception as there was a single group that NSed us, and we fought the twice.

Besides that i can count the amount of times we get NSed on both hands (maybe need feet too) total in over 7 Realmranks.

It's probably different in 8vs8, and the only explanation is that most groups don't bother to properly NS when incing just a smallmen.

If he play in small tank man he can forget the NS heal... if you play in 8vs8 setup is very different... we need to heal ns every inc and many times.
