Thane Template Inquiry - +Stormcalling?

Got the Skald templated and decided to do the Thane next. I cannot seem to find a definitive answer for this, and it will impact the gear I buy on Aesa with Phoenix feathers.

Question - Is +Stormcalling necessary/wanted in a Thane Template when you're already specced 50 into Stormcalling?

The big reason I ask is because I am unsure between the TG Thane Chestpiece (Foe Hammer's Vest) which has +Stormcalling and potentially a waste, or the Dragon Chestpiece (Hauberk of Valhalla) for the HoT reactive proc.

Aesa's spec, in case it's necessary for the conversation -
• 50 Stormcalling - 42 Shield - 39 Hammer - 6 Parry.
• Already have Mastery of Focus II for the AoE/Instas.

Tested in beta. Was 1 dmg per +1 stormcalling

Like any other spell line, even above 50, it adds to your cast damage. I want to say it's 0.5% damage per lvl above 50 but i could be wrong. Very easy to test by just equipping a rog item with +1 stormcalling and testing on the dummies outside svasud.

Also, i believe the HoT reactive chest piece is technically a regenerating heal so if you're diseased it heals for a whopping 0.
