solo Shaman for pve farming - Phoenix Freeshard

Is a shaman viable for this if spec'd cave..if so how would you spec. I have always liked playing shaman as cave spec. So just wanted to know if ROG farming would be viable as a cave spec shaman.

depends on what camp you want to do, if you do Modernav red caps go 50 cave.
if you want to do Axehands i went 38 aug, 37 cave, just so i dont have to respec to RvR in.

but in reality cave shaman is king of the farm on mid.

what race would you recommend to play as and which of those spots would be better.

Spec wise i was looking at 49c/20aug/10mend or 38aug/37c/9 mending

Kobold all the way for dex casting speed.
both specs are good, but if it's solely for farming ONLY i would prolly just do the 49 cave spec.

As for what camps are better it's all preference really both camps are good.

Modernav redcaps is a good GOLD / RoG spot i've come across a few 70+ util drops, not as much metal to salvage etc.
Axehands is best for metal salvage which is my personal preference.

pull (body, aoe dot or aoe disease....depends on the spot) --> sprint away --> stack mobs --> disease them all (skip this step for weaker mobs) --> aoe dot them all until they throw their loot at you.

What is the recommended sequence for moderna farming? I tried a bit but have problems with aggro. I did:
Disease pull -> Kite -> 2 dot cast -> Kite in different direction -> 2 dot cast -> Kite in different direction -> etc
