Shadowblade Weapon Question

I just hit 50 on my sb and am kind of wondering since I only want to respec as little as possible, which weapon is better for a norse sb? Sword or Axe? I am very unfamiliar to the weapons on this server and what is 'best'. I have not even seen a 2h sb around , is 2h a waste even for an opener like PA?

Are the decisions made on what weapon to use made on its procs? I dont know which procs stack with other abilities like dots from envenom.

Any solid opinions on either Axe or Sword guys and what specific weapons are better for that type? Im really kind of lost on my first attempted templated 50.

Crafted 4.2 axe or TG 4.2 sword with str/con debuff proc

Dont use 2h

Back in the beta testing I noticed the str/con debuff sword was not stacking debuffs with the WS/con debuff. Has that changed?

If they don't stack, then the slow dot proc axe for main hand would be decent.

Since they made enervating ws/con rather than str/con they do indeed stack.

are there any must have left axes to use? or is that such a non factor with left hand damge it doesnt really matter what weapon you have just more about the proc and haste effect?

I prefer the 3.2 TG LA with the lifetap proc. You generally want something slow in your main hand (4.0 or slower) and fast in your offhand unless you are partied with an Aug healer when you'd want something slow in your offhand as well.

I dont play a SB or zerker, but I've read somewhere that there are 2.4 spd offhand axe ROGs available. Wouldn't those be best if you can find one with good qual and a decent proc?

Anyone else feel the 4.2 main hand weapons from TG are a tad bit slow in fighting other stealthers? Was thinking of going 4.0 crafted instead. That would mean giving up the str/con proc. Any thoughts?

Are those rogs, 16.5 DPS?

If the Calc I'm using is right the difference between 4.2/3.2 and 4.0/2.9 with 225 qui and 17% haste is 1.99sec/swing vs 1.86sec/swing. Not exactly worth losing str/con proc over imo. If you absolutely need to swing faster you can always spec Aug qui or MoA for additional haste.
