15 Dex 10 Pie or 15 Pie 10 dex? Anyone have an opinion?

Depends on race i'd think, i went 10 dex 15 pie as a kobold cause dex is already high. I'd say the others go 15 dex 10 pie for any other race.

Dex should always be priority over damage. If you can't get your cast off, you do zero damage.

I would go dex as well, faster casting is more important.

You could have high enough dex here, each point is very useful. Dex for casters is more then everything else.

15dex imo, dex is a casters most important stat. By far. Even on kobolds

Approximately how much more damage does 5 or 10 more piety do at level 50? Can a level 50 please test using a direct damage spell against a test dummy?

15 Piety of course!
No matter which race you choice.
Why?
Cause dex has a cap. You will get it sooner or later. Piety dont have cap.

At high realm rank all will have dex caped. If you put 15 on dex an start ofc you will get the cap sooner but after? You lost 5pts piety

On live, playing RR11L6 Frostalf RM. With the same capped dex (392 which is 1.12 (111.9) breakpoint on a 2.8s castspeed) I hit harder as a Kobold who had the same realm rank no matter how AD, MM, WP is tuned.

Hope you understand my point

Keep in mind though, that this only makes sense if you really plan to get to RR10/RR11+.
You are basically giving up a little bit of strength for the first few hundred hours in RvR, to have a slight benefit afterwards.

Everyone has to answer that question for themselves, personally i prefer being optimized for the first hundreds of hours RvR than everything that comes afterwards
