Is that a general purpose group spec or are you planning on anything in particular with it?
Am repseccing tonight from dark for a cold train and am torn between:
48 RC - Purp debuff 19 Supp - Green NS 15 Dark - remainder for damage variance
or
48 RC 11 Supp - Grey NS 22 Dark - even less variance
I don't think I value the pbt enough to lose the purple debuff, you drop from 50% to 30% resist reduction. Also green NS is 35% while grey is 25%, not a big reduction.
I wish I had some values around the + dark variance reduction to make a more informed decision.
i don't know much about Runemasters, but the difference between green and grey nearsight is not only the delve, but also the resistrate due to the greyspell being an even lower level.
Both will get resisted quite a bit and could only be reliably used as interuppt (in which case the delve is irrelevant) I would recommend MoF as RA in both cases, but i am not even sure if the grey one can be saved with MoF
just something to keep in mind when evaluating both speccs
I've been playing with the idea of running a trispec too, then respec to RC/Dark debuff spec on rr6+
You get the 30% debuff, decent variance on baseline nukes and a pretty good nearsight + first PBT.
37 RC (higher bolt is worth more than 1 more in darkness imo) 29 dark 26 supp
It's worse than going RC for red debuff if you are in a caster grp, but it might be a sort of viable alternative to 47/26 dark/supp if you are the only caster. Not sure what you'd gain other than higher bolt damage and having to cast cold debuff before nuking every target though.
