The simple fact is that on a classic freeshard like this you will barely notice any difference in race on the Warrior class.
You can actually minimize the effects fairly drastically with starting stat points and you should just look at what the stats will be at 50.
Dwarf
105 Strength 103 Con 65 Dex 50 Quick
Kobold
95 Str 73 Con 85 Dex 70 Quick
Norse
115 Str 93 Con 65 Dex 50 Quick
Troll
145 Str 93 Con 50 Dex 35 Quick
Valkyn
100 Str 68 Con 80 Dex 75 Quick
Hit Points:
The difference in hit points on the base stats are 1396 to 1602 and this isn't considering your starting attribute points so the spread is more likely 100 between the classes assuming you put points where they should go on any given race.
Weaponskill and Weaponspeed
Yes with the higher strength comes more weaponskill, but the issue that is involved here is that a Kobold and Valkyn are more likely to cap swing speed or get closer to it than a Troll ever will.
Weapnskill Gap Troll at RR1 with 50 spec in the weapon will have 1146 WS a Kobold will have 952 so again about a 200 point spread without considering starting attribute points. +15 strength on a Kobold will put them at 1010 WS.
Weaponspeed Gap Troll vs. Valky this is with a 5.8 Spd Weapon and 12% Haste and +75 in SC. Troll is at 4.5 seconds and a Valkyn will be at 4.1 seconds. Troll with +15 Quick at creation is at 4.4 seconds.
I'd bet that in a wash on damage over time you're about equal on all races based on WSkill and WSpeed. Based on race when you start picking up Aug's for RA's you'll just be picking Quickness on a Troll and Strength on a Kobold which is further mitigating these gaps. So basically the only argument would be if the 100 hit points is a deciding factor.
The goal of this post is to show you that if your not into min/max that they are all pretty equal. What you gain on the one you give on another and this doesn't even consider racial resists which I think are more important on Classic than other servers.
Play what you want because it really doesn't make that much of a difference in the end.
