Odd Ball Builds.. because why not

On live I had a blast playing odd ball builds such as Crossbow armsman and Melee cleric. I've only leveling a healer and shaman to 50 on mid so I'm not as familiar with classes to know whats viable. So what are some odd ball builds to try on mid? Throw warrior? Melee BD? I really don't care how optimal they are aslong as its fun.

I kinda want to try a throw warrior so does putting points in throw do anything? What race?

I don't know anyone who ever put a point into thrown as a warrior. I am curious as to what it would do.
If you do it, let me know.
As for the healer, an all aug melee healer could be a decent soloer.

I play a human in real life so I usually avoid those. I like troll or dwarf with eye-patch.

Skald with anything but hammer.

BA Bonedancer in RvR.

Thrown does absolutely nothing for Warrior. It doesn’t increase damage, or range.

2hd Savage. Not oddball so much as a little less seen.

46 cave shaman for last aoe dot. Same as BA BD, used more for PvE farm.

I would say Sword/Axe Thane, but that’s more intentionally gimping a Thane.

If you don’t want a Warrior with Slam and a weapon skill at 50, don’t roll one. They need to leverage the extra damage/weaponskill as much as possible, and other than positional snares or off block/evades, melee stuns are their only CC.

Probably more playable on live than here due to TOA/Champ levels but this melee Healer looked interesting

You could play a pure 2h berserker without left axe and maybe split between sword and hammer.

Some wonderful idea people, keep them coming. The melee healer looks interesting.
