In an effort to get everyone RVR ready ASAP Jörmungandr will be running the following raids week 1.
We are assuming most people can get a character to 45+ by Wednesday, and 50 by the weekend. If there are enough people high enough level we will do them earlier, and possibly on a whim. We will try to spam Forum and Discord with at least 24 hour notice for anything not listed. Dungeons will be full wipes for the feathers.
BGs will open 30 min - hour before.

Weds 1/16 7PM EST- Dragon - MinLevel 45 - 72+ in BG - 45 Mins Start to finish.
Weds 1/16 8:30PM EST -Trollheim - MinLevel 45 - 72+ in BG - 1.5 Hrs
Thurday 1/17 7PM EST -Tuscaren Glacier - MinLevel 48 - 24+ in BG -3+ Hours
Friday 1/18 6PM EST - Tuscaren Glacier 50 - Min Level 50 - 72+ in BG- 3-5 Hours
Saturday 1/19 9AM EST (3pm CET) Dragon MinLevel 45 - 72+ in BG - 45 Mins Start to finish.
Saturday 1/19 11AM EST (5PM CET) Tuscaren Glacier 50 - Min Level 50 - 72+ in BG- 3-5 Hours
Sunday 1/20 9AM EST (3PM CET) Dragon MinLevel 45 - 72+ in BG - 45 Mins Start to finish.
Sunday 1/20 11AM EST (5PM CET) Tuscaren Glacier 50 - Min Level 50 - 72+ in BG- 3-5 Hours

***We will be using the in game BG loot chest and and roll parser. Directions for rolls will be given at beginning of each raid, this will be new to many of you, so please pay attention***

THINGS THAT WILL GET YOU KICKED/BANNED FROM OUR RAIDS
*Explicitly not following directions
*Long AFKs - You must participate to be eligible for rolls
*Combative toward raid leader

That's a lot of raids to pack into a week, but I'll try to make as many as I can without getting shanked by my wife.

I was thinking the same thing. Or work taking longer than normal.

I've scheduled multiple of each raid so that people with less than open availability can hopefully make it for what they need.

I expect many people to be online a LOT in that first week. I will be.

I mean, yeah, I could just try to make just 1 of each and be safe from the wrath of the love of my life.

Oooor, and I'm just thinking out loud here, I can attend all the things and maybe, just maybe, have to do all the laundry for a week, buy her a bunch of chocolate, and check the couch for lumpy spots, with my back, while I'm sleeping on it.

It's a pretty tough call, so I'm gonna have to play it by ear and see how far I get until she starts eyeballing the power cable for the router.

Orrrrr... grow some balls and do what you want in life, don't let a female dictate what you can and can't do.

You're not married are ya?

Happy wife happy life!

Ps: Unless you're one of the lucky ones that found a wife that's also a PC gamer and understands perfectly.

Will be there!

wow, that's what I called planning! Is Jorm accepting new members?
Thu 3 Jan 2019 5:17 PM by Mura
I may or may not have heard a rumor that their new members are required to survive 7 minutes in heaven with Mongo.

I'm not sure if I'd risk it.

Really though, unless a member of leadership wants to chime in, I'm under the impression that open recruitment is on hold, at least until we can get in game and see who is regularly showing up and if we need to expand the roster.

Are we allowed to go on the raid even if we aren't a guild member?
Thu 3 Jan 2019 8:43 PM by Mura
I don't see why the GM would post the schedule in a public place it it wasn't open to the public.

Not to step on Hype's toes, but I believe he would agree, that as long as you meet the level requirements and can listen to instructions from the raid leaders, all are welcome.
Thu 3 Jan 2019 8:50 PM by ColdHands
Mura thanks for the diplomacy.

*all of Midgard is welcome on the raids provided they meet the listed criteria. (level, ability to follow directions, not taking excessive AFKs) in fact more is better, bring your friends.

*Jörmungandr is not currently in open recruitment. We are however taking inquiries from experienced Pac Healers.

Nice to see realm organizers already setting up

Will this be a recurring event or more a jumpsrrart to "get done" with that Part?
Fri 4 Jan 2019 2:34 AM by Mura
I would expect the frequency to dial back after the launch rush, but at the very least I believe we'll see at least weekly raids.

I think frequency of future raids will be determined by server demand. If we stuggle to get enough people, I'm sure we'll fine tune how often we organize the raids.

This is just my own prediction though, nothing officially corfirmed by leadership.

I'm sure at some point we'll sit down and work out a recurring schedule sometime shortly after launch.

was a bit sad to hear that the raid and min-level requirement was changed on short notice just a few hours before. As working EU player the only way to attend was to set an alarmclock in the night and go to bed early, only to get a message that you don't meet the requirements for the BG

But i understand the reasoning and hope you were succesful.
I'll be ready for the next batches of raids
